Roadmap

Jinq is currently complete. It provides LINQ-style queries for Java 8 and Scala using JPA as an underlying ORM. If you encounter problems with Jinq or if you see possible improvements that can be made to the system, please let me know, and I will try to make those changes.

Below are some directions where Jinq can be expanded to in the future. If you need such functionality, let me know and I can investigate it.

• Support more esoteric JPQL query functionality like stored procedures
• Explore the possibility of directly generating SQL to bypass the limitations of current JPQL implementations
• Support for NoSQL JPA implementations or simply support NoSQL databases directly
• Improve support for jOOQ
• Better support for complex boolean expressions involving over 64 paths
• Extend the lambda handling and symbolic execution engine to do GPU computation of Java code
